We envision: Integrated ecological, social, economic and institutional systems that function together to create healthy and sustainable cities.
Urban Watershed Information Network will act as a not-for-profit organisation with the mission: To act as a catalyst for change by assimilating, processing and conveying information and knowledge to engage individuals and institutions; to facilitate sustainable practices in urban areas; to increase awareness of ecosystem services and value; and to foster a watershed perspective for resource management.
UWIN is currently under construction. Please enter UWIN's Green Urban InfrastructureAssessment (GUIA) site for important information on urban watersheds.

GUIA outlines a proposed method of opportunity identification and standardized hierarchical ranking process for urban watershed restoration. We have produced an educational video that focuses on some of the key issues our process seeks to address, and outlines methods that can be applied to restore vital ecological function to urban watersheds around the globe.
